Hosted by Homeward Alliance, the Mission to Hope Walk is an annual walk to raise awareness and funds to help end homelessness in Northern Colorado. The walk is also our chance to show those who experience homelessness that our community cares about their lives and to affirm our commitment to make homelessness rare, short-lived, and non-recurring.
This year the event will be held on Saturday, October 8th, and kick off at 10 am. We begin at the Samaritan House/Catholic Charities located at 460 Linden Center Drive (across from New Belgium Brewing), then proceed south to the Fort Collins Rescue Mission at 216 Jefferson Street, then head west and up College Ave to the Murphy Center, 242 Conifer Street for an Open House. Walkers are then welcomed to tour the center, learn more about efforts to combat homelessness and housing insecurity, and enjoy refreshments and good conversation. 100% of all proceeds raised benefit the Murphy Center for Hope.
