Presented by Colorado State University, Dellenbach Subaru and Mantooth Marketing Company

After a week off to celebrate the Fourth of July, the Lagoon Summer Concert Series is back again with Last Call Romance. The group specializes in rockabilly-swing style and has traveled internationally for performances.

This band from northern Colorado is certainly unique. They “strive for an old-fashioned vibe that evokes a time when a catchy, energetic sound was heard on a car radio or at the dance hall.”

The Little Kids Rock performer opening this week is Bran Schneider.

The food truck lineup this week includes The Taco Stop, Bigs Meat Wagon, The Goodness Truck, The Human Bean Coffee Truck and A-Maize’n Kettle Corn.

The Lagoon Summer Concert Series runs for seven weeks throughout the summer and features a variety of music styles including country, reggae, folk, rock and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for an enjoyable evening of free music. Residents should be cautioned that there is no parking allowed on Plum Drive.

For those who can’t make the show, Last Call Romance’s performance will be broadcast on KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins on Wednesday, July 17 at 7 p.m. as part of their “Around Town” series.

The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is produced by Mantooth Marketing and Events with thanks to the generous support of title sponsors Dellenbach Subaru and Colorado State University.

Event sponsors include Soukup Bush & Associates, Poudre River Public Library, Dogtopia, Rocky Mountain Student Media, the Coloradoan, City of Fort Collins, The Youth Clinic, Retro 102.5, 99.9 The Point, Fossil Creek Nursery, We R Foco, Rockfan Entertainment, Scene Magazine and North Forty News.
