Larimer County partners with area municipalities to distribute relief funds to eligible businesses

Eligible small businesses in Larimer County that have been impacted by COVID-19 restrictions might be eligible for a one-time relief payment program for their business.

Larimer County is partnering with the City of Fort Collins, City of Loveland, and Town of Estes Park to serve as “Municipal Business Hubs” and ensure county-wide access to the program and opt into COVID-19 Small Business Relief Support through the Special Session Senate Bill 20B-001.

Impacted small businesses include restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, distilleries, fitness clubs, and recreational sports centers, caterers, and movie theatres. Businesses must also have a reduced revenue of at least 20% due to capacity restrictions from public health orders.

The one-time relief payments will be determined by the following tiers:

  • Businesses with 2019 revenue less than $500,000 might receive up to $3,500.
  • Businesses with 2019 revenue between $500,000 and $2.5 Million might receive up to $5,000.
  • Businesses with 2019 revenue between $1 Million and $2.5 Million might receive a payment up to $7,000.

Larimer County businesses are encouraged to apply as soon as possible for the program since the application period is from Jan. 6, 2021 to Jan 27, 2021. Additional follow-up might be needed to verify eligible businesses have met all the requirements to receive the funds

Apply online at www.larimer.org/sbr on Jan. 6, 2021, both English and Spanish versions are available. Eligible businesses are encouraged to work with the hub closest to their business’s place of operation. Support for Spanish-speaking businesses will also be available at each hub.
