As you may be aware, the Rocky Mountain High School Wrestling Team has a rich history of success while emphasizing class and character development of athletes on and off the mat. Such a legacy makes involvement in the program a great honor, and we are fortunate to have a dedicated coaching staff and strong parental support. Some program highlights:
• 16 Individual State Champs
• 52 State Placers
• 9x Top-Ten Team Finish at State
• 11x Team Regional Champs
The program’s legacy alone cannot guarantee the best opportunity for future success of our wrestlers, however. As you may imagine there are real costs associated with running a successful wrestling program. Athlete gear (singlet, warm-ups, etc.) for just one wrestler costs around $200. Wrestling camps will typically cost between $250 to $500 per attendee. Travel and accommodations for tournaments can cost as much as $200 for each wrestler.
As a valued member of our community, we are reaching out to ask you to donate to the program in order to ensure our student-athletes continue to have the opportunities their predecessors experienced. If you are in the position to support, we are asking for either a monetary donation or items that may be used for fundraiser prizes, auctions, etc. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that your donation will go directly to the program to help wrestlers with aforementioned costs.
For donations $500+ your/company name or logo will be displayed on a Banner hung in RMHS Main Gym, as well as listed in our home match & tournament programs. The banners are displayed in our gym for thousands of spectators to see over the course of the season!
We know the past few years have been challenging for everybody, and we’d be so grateful to have your support to continue the Lobo Legacy.
