Health District seeks input from local business leaders

The Health District of Northern Larimer County is hosting a forum for business leaders to gather input on local health issues.

The Community Health Forum for business leaders will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15, noon to 1:30 p.m., at the Health District offices, 120 Bristlecone Drive, Fort Collins.

Feedback gathered during the discussions will be used for research purposes only as the Health District seeks to better understand the health, and health-care needs, of local residents.

Seating is limited, and participants are asked to reserve their space by Oct. 18. Lunch will be provided. Please contact Katherine Chu at the Health District, 224-5209, [email protected] to reserve your place.

The Community Health Forums are part of the Community Health Assessment, which the Health District has performed every three years since 1995. The assessment also includes a random survey of Larimer County households that is currently underway. Information gathered during the Community Health Assessment helps guide the planning and design of programs and services at the Health District. It is also shared with other local organizations working on health-related issues.

The Health District is a public agency that provides residents of northern Larimer County with dental, mental health, preventive health and end-of-life planning services, in addition to connecting people to more affordable prescription and health insurance options.
