Healing Warriors Program is hosting a Champagne & Chocolate Casino night April 29, 2022 benefiting Veterans and their Families, at the Fort Collins Marriott. “We are so excited to get folks back out to mingle, network and have fun for a good cause,” said Janet Hatfield, Development Manager for Healing Warriors Program.

On Friday April 29th, guests from across Colorado will gather at 5 pm for an evening of exciting casino action and prizes while enjoying cocktails, a decadent chocolate signature drink, and heavy hors d’oeuvres at the Fort Collins Marriott, 350 East Horsetooth Road, Fort Collins, CO, 80525. Individual tickets to this worthwhile event are available at https://www.healingwarriorsprogram.org/champagne-chocolate/

Sponsors can support this event through unique offerings such as a “Cocoa Puff Chocolate Cigar” sponsor, or perhaps a “Tuxedo Water Champagne” sponsorship. Details on all sponsorships are also available at https://www.healingwarriorsprogram.org/champagne-chocolate/

“Recent events have increased trauma, grief, pain and suicide risk for our military families, who sacrifice so much in service to our nation,” said Executive Director, Ana Yelen, “Our role is to lessen the factors that lead to veteran suicides. We do this by providing free treatment care, home self-care tools, gun locks, and Client Care navigation services to assist in connecting our veterans with community resources and counseling services. We solve problems together as a community, and our fundraising events focus on education, awareness and removing barriers for our veteran families in obtaining care.”

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, the state of Colorado ranks as the fifth highest suicide rate at 22.1 per 100,000. Wyoming ranks number one with a suicide rate of 29.6 per 100,000.
Founded in Colorado, Healing Warriors Program has served more than 2,500 families from more than 21 states and have provided over 26,000 treatments through their Fort Collins clinic and through monthly free pop up clinics in Longmont, Denver and Colorado Springs for Post-Traumatic Stress, Sleep Disturbances, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Chronic Pain and Interpersonal Trauma.
