Happenings at The Cooking Studio Fort Collins

Aug 4, 2015 | Member News

Lots of good things are happening in The Cooking Studio this summer. In July we were challenged by the Associates in Family Medicine to come up with a dish for their booth at the Farmer’s Market using 3 ingredients available in the market.  We came up with Radish Quesidillas with 1) radishes, 2) cilantro, and 3) home made tortillas.  Did many people purchase those items in the market and make the recipe at home?  We heard from several families that they did indeed!

Check out the August Issue of Lydia’s Style Magazine.  Angie Grenz wrote a fabulous article about her experiences in our Molé class.  The photos are great and will make you want to sign up to take a class yourself this summer.

Speaking of classes, in addition to the classes highlighted below, our August classes include Bread Making, Knife Skills and Date Night.

Real Food: Menus, Recipes and Techniques

This class is focused on clean eating, great flavor and menus that can take you through the week.  If you are eating gluten free, paleo, doing a cleanse or just love cooking with fresh, non-processed foods, then this is the class for you.
