Ginger and Baker To Host Brewers Breakfast Brunch Celebrating Culinary Collaborations with Troubadour Maltings, Black Bottle Brewery and Bindle Coffee

Ft. Collins, CO – April 9, 2018 – Pajamas, cartoons and delicious FoCo-inspired brunch items are on the agenda Sunday, April 15, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., in Ginger and Baker’s historic Mill Top. The Brewer’s Breakfast Brunch celebrates the launch of culinary partnerships with Troubadour Maltings, Black Bottle Brewery and Bindle Coffee.

“We’ve been working hard with our local food and drink artisans,” said Ginger Graham, owner of Ginger and Baker. “We can’t wait to share the delicious results!”

The brunch will offer a chance to sample Ginger and Baker’s ‘Brewer’s Breakfast Cereal,’ a crunchy collaboration created by Ginger and Baker’s bakers that includes Troubadour Maltings malt barley and Bindle Coffee’s dark roast.

Those over 21 can sip ‘Ginger and Baker Cerealiously Stout,’ a milk stout crafted by Black Bottle Brewery from 37 pounds of Ginger and Baker’s Brewer’s Breakfast Cereal!

“When I heard that Ginger & Baker was teaming up with Troubadour Maltings to make a local breakfast cereal I knew I wanted to brew a local version of our ‘Cerealiously’ brew,” said Tom Moseman, Black Bottle Head Brewer. “This beer is a lot different from previous versions of Cerealiously, offering flavors of malted barley, puffed rice, almonds, and coffee.”

The Brunch menu also features a number of other FoCo-forward concoctions created by Ginger and Baker’s bakers including fresh-baked Troubadour malt sourdough bread and rich and creamy Troubadour malted vanilla ice cream topped with a sprinkling of Brewer’s Breakfast Cereal.

Folks from Troubadour, Black Bottle, Bindle and Ginger and Baker will be on hand to share the story of their delicious innovations. Plus, classic cartoons will run on the big screen for the young and the young at heart. Jammies are suggested attire, with a prize awarded to the best pajamas of the day. Breakfast lovers of all ages are welcome to join, with a special kids menu and ticket cost for those under 12. Full menu and tickets are available at GingerandBaker.com

“This focus on local grains, classic methods and community collaboration is a perfect fit with the history of our 100-year-old grain mill,” said Ginger Graham. “Everything old is new again.”
