FUTURE OF TRANSIT: Panel Discussion

Nov 14, 2018 | Member News

The current Fort Collins City Plan scenarios include the potential for varying levels of expansion of traditional transit services, including BRT and high frequency lines.  Trends indicate that new technologies and systems will likely result in blends of service typologies not yet prevalent in the industry.  Before proceeding to development of a preferred scenario, the City Plan team should explore the ways these new systems may impact transit in the future.

The panel will include experts discussing future trends in transit and mobility. Topics include on-demand service, shared mobility innovations, autonomous vehicles, expansion of transit and funding options in Fort Collins.
