Frameworks Timber will host several LumberJill introductory workshops on June 20 and June 27, 2015 at The Gardens on Spring Creek and one in the fall, date TBD. Join Frameworks Timber to learn the basics of timber frame carpentry!

“The LumberJill workshops are designed to teach basic carpentry skills. We are looking forward to educating community members and we encourage you all to come out to volunteer, learn the basics of timber framing, have some fun and support a great community cause,” said Adrian Jones, owner of Frameworks Timber. “

In the first 2-day LumberJill workshop, volunteers will assist in the rebuilding and raising of an existing pergola at The Gardens on Spring Creek. The fall workshop will consist of building cubbies for the Boys and Girls Club. Volunteers will be exposed to the basic tasks involved in timber frame carpentry. Each workshop will include an educational portion, hands-on-learning, food, drink and an opportunity to donate to these great non-profits. A generous contribution of materials was made by Sutherland’s Lumber, www.sutherlands.com.

We are currently looking for volunteers, if you are interested in volunteering for Frameworks LumberJill please email or call our volunteer and marketing coordinator Jeanie at 970-219-8333 or [email protected].
