Frameworks LumberJills – Volunteer Opportunities Hosted by Frameworks Timber

Sep 22, 2015 | Member News

Frameworks Timber will host their second introductory building workshop for women on October 10, 2015 at the Frameworks Timber Shop. Become a Frameworks LumberJill and learn the basics of carpentry!

“The Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County is thankful to Frameworks Timber for picking us as a beneficiary for this volunteer event. The cubbies that are being built will help our Club members have a safe and secure place to store their belongings while they enjoy our impact programs, such as homework help, said Kaycee Headrick of The Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County. “

Volunteers will assist in the construction of cubbies for The Boys and Girls Clubs of Larimer County. Frameworks LumberJills will be exposed to the basic tasks involved in carpentry and will learn a bit about timber framing in a fun, workshop environment. The workshop will include an educational portion, hands-on-learning, food, drink and an opportunity to donate to a Fort Collins, CO non-profit.

We are currently looking for volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering and becoming a Frameworks LumberJill, please email or call our volunteer and marketing coordinator Jeanie Sutter at 970-219-8333 or [email protected].
