As a member of the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS, I am reaching out to you on behalf of a significant philanthropic event FCBR holds every year to assist a member of the real estate community who faces substantial hardship, illness or other major life difficulty.
On Friday, May 13, 2022 the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS® will host its annual Bowl-A-Thon at Chippers Lanes involving over 200 members of the REALTOR® community to raise funds to benefit and support one of our own.
Nathan Washam is this year’s recipient. We are coming together as a REALTOR® family across Fort Collins to support Nathan and his family as he continues his recovery from fighting the battle of his life with COVID.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 from the real estate and broader community through FCBR’s Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser that includes lane sponsorships, bowling teams and, most importantly, significant donation of goods or services on which participants buy tickets to enter competitive drawings to win prizes. We also have opportunities for local businesses to “sponsor” a lane at the event. This is $250, and a large banner at the end of the lane would have your company logo (black & white). It stays up at the bowling alley for about 3 days. We also are looking for bowling teams of 6 people ($40 per person), this includes shoes, 2 games and food/snacks at the event.
As the REALTOR® community comes together to support and raise funds for one of our own again this year, I invite you to consider a tangible donation of goods or services that can be part of our prize drawings. Gift certificates, package deals, and donation of goods or services are all welcome. Thank you for your consideration and generosity as we collectively raise funds to support Nathan. We are mindful that all of us are just one life circumstance away from needing the care and support our community now chooses to lovingly extend to Nathan.
