Fundraising for 5th Annual LambFam 5k to Benefit Children’s Hospital

As DECA members, students are given the opportunity to prepare and implement an act of community service and this year we are organizing the fifth annual LambFam Fall 5K to benefit the Children’s Hospital Colorado.

The purpose of this event is two-fold: to unite our community and raise money to make sure that all children with critical illnesses are able to have their wishes come true. Chiefly, Children’s Hospital Colorado is a  important beneficiary of this project, as one of the organizers was impacted with an autoimmunity emergency that involved many days spent in the facilities at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Additionally, he personal connection to this specific foundation creates a passion for the project and rallies DECA members to action. As the oldest high school in Fort Collins, This makes the high school the ideal location for the 5K event.

The event will take place  Sunday, October 2nd, 2022.

Furthermore, during this time, alumni and current students alike come together to celebrate the traditions, community and values of
Fort Collins High School. With the addition of the LambFam Fall 5K, a component of raising money and henceforth heightened awareness for the Children’s Hospital add to festivities. This event is a large undertaking and requires the support of local businesses to be a success. We recognize your involvement in the Northern Colorado community hoping to gain
your support of the LambFam Fall 5K. We have outlined several sponsorship levels in which you can participate, as well as registration and event details below.

Thank you for your time and support, from FCHS DECA!
