THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL OF COLORADO ANNOUNCES 2022 EDIE AWARD RECIPIENTS

As noted, the Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC) announced the 2022 EDIE award recipients, recognizing economic development excellence during its annual Drive|Lead|Succeed Conference at Pueblo Convention Center in Pueblo, Colorado, last week.
Accordingly, the EDIE, the most recognized economic development award in Colorado, represents outstanding achievements by its members, organizations, communities, companies, individuals, and legislators for their exceptional achievements in economic growth in the State of Colorado. Since 1989, EDCC has celebrated the accomplishments of over 200 award winners. This year, 11 awardees were recognized.

EDCC is proud to announce this year’s winners:

• Small Community of the Year: Town of Pagosa Springs/Archuleta County
• Medium Community of the Year: City of Northglenn
• Large Community of the Year: City of Fort Collins
• Legislator of the Year: Representative Marc Snyder
• Legislator Lifetime Achievement Award: Representative Barbara McLachlan
• Company of the Year: Fuel & Iron Realty
• Economic Development Partnership of the Year: Pueblo Community College
• Volunteer of the Year: Corinne Koehler, Owner, Koehler Wealth Management, LLC
• Rookie of the Year: Sarah Crosthwaite, Economic Development Manager, Town of Johnstown

Chairman’s Choice Award: Laura Lewis Marchino, Region 9 Economic Development District
• Economic Development Achievement Award: Rich Werner, President/CEO, Upstate Colorado
