The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a 10,500 acre refuge for large animal rescues such as lions, tigers, bears and wolves. Most of these animals have been abused and treated very poorly either by private owners or organizations within the entertainment industry. The refuge allows these animals, many for the first time, to roam freely in wide open spaces with others of their own species. After discovering TWAS, those of us at Alt E Wind & Solar immediately fell in love. We decided to support the Sanctuary by not only adopting an animal for our Company, but also by adopting an animal in each customer’s name!
We have opted to stick with the largest animals for adopting which includes Lion, Tiger, Cougar, Wolf, Leopard or Bear as this provides the most support for the sanctuary.
