Construction Begins at Major Fort Collins Intersection – Chamber Committed to Local Businesses During Disruption

FORT COLLINS, COLO. – June 1, 2018 – Construction to improve the intersection at College Avenue and Horsetooth Road began Tuesday, May 29. Road closures are predicted starting June 18. The Chamber highly encourages the community to continue to support the businesses around the construction area. It will follow this project and provide updates on a regular basis.

The City of Fort Collins has deemed this intersection as a “top ranked location for needed safety and operational improvements.” The six-month project will include: rebuilding the intersection, adding dual left turn lanes and right turn lanes, replacing and widening bridges, updating landscaping and installing new median and traffic signal system. It is estimated to be completed by November 2018.
