The Lagoon Summer Concert Series, one of Northern Colorado’s favorite family-friendly concert series, is in full swing on the west lawn of the Colorado State University Lory Student Center! Owned and produced by the Mantooth Company for the past 25 years, this popular summer tradition brings together friends and families on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. through July 27.

There is a lot planned for this week’s concert on Wednesday, July 13. Taking the stage to energize the crowd will be Clark Street Station, a local classic rock band that plays an eclectic mix of music that is familiar and loved from different decades.

Gary Ozzello will return as emcee. Ozzello is a former Colorado State University Athletics Sports Information Director, now serving as Director of University Relations for Canvas Credit Union. He has the prestigious honor of being inducted into the 2021 Hall of Honor at Colorado State University.

This week’s concert will be made particularly memorable for one dad and his family as he is given keys to a car by Houska Automotive! Family owners, LJ, Jen, Dennis and Noreen Houska will present a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu to Mr. Cire Brown at 7:30 p.m. This is the seventh year Houska Automotive has donated a car to very deserving Project Self-Sufficiency recipient. Project Self-Sufficiency is a nonprofit that serves to provide education and career development to single parents empowering them to live an independent life.

Attendees should bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, kids and leashed pets to enjoy the show. Food trucks will be on site offering a great choice of dinner, snacks and drinks, including The Goodness Truck, Gelato and aMore, Bigs BBQ and Human Bean of Northern Colorado.

The concert series is presented by Canvas Credit Union, Colorado State University (CSU) and Mantooth Company. Additional series sponsors include Poudre River Library District, Outpost Sunsport, DaVinci Signs, Big O Tires of Fort Collins, The Group Real Estate, City of Fort Collins, Breeze Thru Car Wash, Dellenbach Motors, Cornerstone Home Lending, Houska Automotive, NOCO Style, North Forty News, The New Scene, The Rocky Mountain Collegian, KRFC 88.9 FM and iHeartMedia. CSU will be hosting booths for Music Business, Center for Environmental Justice and Little Shop of Physics. Other sponsors that will be hosting booths at the event include Canvas Credit Union, iHeartMedia, Morning Fresh Dairy, City of Fort Collins and The Group Real Estate. Breeze Thru Car Wash will host an inflatable at the concert too!
