The City of Fort Collins will host a community discussion about desired characteristics in the new executive director for Fort Collins Utilities.

Theresa Conner has served as the interim director since the spring of 2020; the City is now preparing for a national search for a permanent director.

The community discussion is an opportunity for the public to share their insights and priorities for the director position, including desired skills, abilities and expertise for a top candidate, as well as any areas of focus for a new director to address.

The Utilities executive director provides executive leadership for all areas of Utilities, including water supply and demand, water treatment and quality, light and power operations, stormwater, wastewater treatment, and utility financing and rate structure.
