Originally a Leadership Fort Collins class project, Be Kind FoCo is a celebration of kindness in Fort Collins. This year, due to COVID-19, the entire “event” will be a socially distanced spread-the-kindness scavenger hunt, on Saturday, August 1st, beginning and ending at Foothills Mall.
The mission of Be Kind FoCo is to inspire philanthropy in children and their families by celebrating, learning, and connecting through kindness. Based on the belief that philanthropy begins with kindness, Be Kind FoCo is now in its third year and officially became a 501c3 nonprofit in the fall of 2019. What began as a grassroots project to connect families with opportunities for giving back that were simple but impactful has grown to become a community-wide movement and celebration of the amazing kindness that permeates our Fort Collins community.
