Ace Hardware of Fort Collins Celebrates New Name with Grand Opening Festivities

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (Sept. 6, 2016) – Ace Hardware of Fort Collins is excited to announce that it has changed its name from Clays’ Ace Hardware, following a transfer of ownership in late 2015. In celebration, Ace Hardware of Fort Collins invites the community to its Grand Opening festivities on Sept. 16-18, 2016, at 1001 E. Harmony Rd., Unit B. The weekend will include live music, food and beverage, giveaways and more.

“We are continuing the Clays’ and Ace tradition of supporting our community and giving them the resources to master any do-it-yourself project has always been our first priority,” said Tim Kenney, President and Co-Owner of Ace Hardware of Fort Collins. “As we unveil our new name, the three-day event is the perfect time to remind our community of everything Ace stands for and how much we appreciate our customers and the entire community.”

Tim Kenney, along with his wife, Julie Kenney, took ownership of Ace Hardware of Fort Collins in late 2015. He brings with him nearly 30 years of experience in the retail and commercial banking industry, and Julie Kenney has an extensive 25 career in marketing. Clays’ is now Ace Hardware of Fort Collins, so the store can easily be identified by its loyal customers as an Ace Hardware Store of the local community.
