The Farmers® Insurance District Office of Fort Collins is seeking interested buyers for an agency of 700 policies in Wellington Colorado!

Our northern Colorado Farmers® agents work for themselves, set their own hours, determine their own income, and become respected leaders, all while taking care of the communities in their areas. Our team of 20 agents make anywhere from $60,000 (new agents) to well over $1M annually, with an average income of around $200k annually.
We are looking for talented, sales-minded, entrepreneurial business professionals that are interested in buying an agency with Farmers® Insurance!
Contact us to be pre-qualified as a Farmers® Acquisition Agent. We are currently accepting applications for 2020 acquisitions (candidate must be approved through the application process and be able to show at least $60k in assets to be considered).
Responsibilities of an Agent:
- Present and explain company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon production targets on a deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
- *Help clients with investments (*Series 6 required)
Qualifications to become a Farmers® Acquisition Agent:
- Previous experience in sales, insurance, customer service, or other related fields
- No bankruptcies in the previous 12 months
- No outstanding liens/judgments/money in collections
- No felonies or money-related misdemeanors
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Work well under pressure
- Act proactively
- CO producer license in P/C/L/H is required (by acquisition date)
- $60k in assets (must show)
