Schedule Coordinator - Senior Helpers

Senior Helpers of Northern Colorado/Wyoming is currently seeking a Home Care Scheduling Coordinator to work in our fast-paced office located in LaPorte, Colorado (Located in Northern Fort Collins, CO).

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Answer all incoming phone calls.
  • Under direct supervision of the Director of Operations and Lead Scheduler, select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information for new and existing clients.
  • Maintain all scheduling of caregivers and respond to situations where scheduling conflicts, emergencies and/or “call-outs” arise.
  • Track and record, in home care software, all instances of assignment refusals, call-outs, late arrivals, early departures, etc. and share information with the team on a regular basis.
  • Notify team of any caregiver performance concerns immediately and proceed with any communication and/or scheduling changes.
  • Communicate with the Caregiver Manager and HR Director to hire for the open shifts on a regular basis.
  • Report as needed to open shifts when a replacement caregiver is not able to be found in the event of a call out, assignment refusal, or emergency.
  • Lead communications to caregivers and clients about schedule changes, caregiver changes, follow ups with new caregiver/client pairings, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in the field of customer service
  • Caregiving experience as it will be required to report to some shifts in this role
  • Knowledge of general home care staffing requirements
  • Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently
  • Must have experience using telephones with multiple lines, be detailed oriented, multi-task on several calls and maintain professionalism and patience with a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem solving abilities are a requirement, schedule conflicts are bound to arise that will require creative solution
  • Experience with Clear Care and Tiger Connect is a plus!

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to pass a Background Check.
  • Legal Identification and proof of authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to arrive at shifts on-time.
