Administrates and manages loan portfolios while supporting the rest of the lending team in their efforts to introduce new and existing clients to the wealth management approach of First Western Financial. Possesses the ability to generate additional business through existing and new clients, using consultative selling.
Associate must work well in a dynamic, fast paced environment, where multitasking and prioritizing tasks is essential. Associate must be comfortable in a change environment where products, services, and processes are ever evolving. Must be a self-starter and comfortable performing essential job functions independently.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Contributes to profit center production goals including loans, deposits and assets under management; individual annual production goal to be assigned in conjunction with the annual office sales goals.
Responsible for identifying and introducing new clients to the firm.
Facilitates loan requests for new and existing client relationships; manages loans through the approval process by acting as a liaison between support groups.
Monitors and administrates loan portfolios including borrowing bases, covenant tracking, collateral exceptions, loan documentation, and loan requests.
Knowledge of complex cash flow and credit analysis, appraisal policy, and collateral, including borrowing bases and performance triggers.
Manages construction, commercial and industrial, and commercial real estate deals.
Learns from other financial professionals’ expertise in wealth planning, investment management, trust and depository services, and then applies this comprehensive knowledge to further develop client portfolios.
Maintain current knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, policies and procedures.
Must maintain NMLS membership for the length of employment.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related experience. RMA or Omega level training preferred
10+ years of experience in a client-facing lending role. Underwriting experience preferred
NMLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills; experience working with banking and credit software; experience with CRM preferred
Strong mathematical skills; high initiative and follow-through; ability to work independently and with a team; excellent written and verbal communications skills; able to organization, prioritize and multi-task; self-starter
Experience working with high net-worth individuals
Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients related to lending guidance; integral team member of the profit center sales team
Administrate loan portfolios including covenant tracking, collateral exceptions, loan documentation and less complex loan requests
