Financial Sales Advisor – Personal Banker – Ft. Collins (Harmony) - BBVA

What does the job entail?

Matches customer needs and banking products and services for consumer and small business customers through face to face and over the phone conversations in order to serve customers while supporting the bank’s objectives. Leverage the customer conversation process and sales tools to deliver our solutions as appropriate to customers and prospects.

Responsibilities

Responsible for new account openings, cross-selling and referrals of all bank products. Uncovers sales and service opportunities using the established sales process . Provides customers with proper financial advice to support their growth into high value relationships. Strengthens relationships through cross-selling and up-selling to maximize retention and income generation. Ensures all deposit, loan and investment account documentation meets consumer and business regulations, laws and policies.

Education/Experience

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. One (1) year of proactive sales experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Lic/Cert/Reg

Preferred: Life and Health insurance licenses, Series 6 (Limited-Investment Securities License), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent)

This job has multiple levels (i.e. I, II, III, etc.). The posted job description includes the qualifications associated with the entry level position. If hired, you may be placed at a level above the entry level position. The level of placement will be based on experience, education and skills.
