Entry Level- CNC Router Operator Assistant (Windsor, CO), full time.

Colorado’s leading sign manufacturing company is seeking a deadline driven, mechanically inclined, self-motivated individual, with willingness and ability to learn. Applicant will be responsible for operating a flatbed cutter, as well as maintaining equipment.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Learn to operate router with CNC XYZ access
• Set up and manipulate drawing files such as PDF, Corel, Adobe, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints to create detailed drawings
• Operate plotter/film cutter and applying films on all types of substrates.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be mechanically inclined.

Attention to detail is required.

Ability to learn is a must.

Knowledge in manipulating drawing files to nest, layout, and organize cutting path is a plus.

Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills.

Must be able to read and understand scaled drawings.

Must be able to problem solve.

Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements:

Applicant must be able to lift 75 pounds

Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to work in a shop environment

Wage is dependent upon prior experience and knowledge, ranging from $14 to $16 per hour. The company also promotes and supports employees in educational & training opportunities.
