DONOR RECRUITMENT REPRESENTATIVE – Northern Colorado Territory

Vitalant, formerly known as Bonfils Blood Center, is currently seeking an influential and results-driven professional who will be responsible for portions of the community blood supply recruitment. Vitalant is a non-profit blood collection facility that exists only to make a difference in our communities.
As a Donor Recruitment Representative, you will be working in a fast paced environment in the area of blood donor recruitment. This confident professional will work to grow existing blood drive accounts and establish strong and stable new accounts. Dedicated to the recruitment of blood donors through blood drive coordination and public relations, the Donor Recruitment Representative will interact with diverse groups including communities, businesses and schools.

Requirements & Preferred Competencies/Skills: Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Outside sales experience, public speaking, and public relations experience preferred. You must be self-motivated, personable, well organized, confident, results-driven, and possess strong oral and written communication skills. Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable record. Out of town travel required. May need to provide own vehicle on occasion (mileage reimbursable).
Schedule: M – F; Exempt
Travel: Local travel, 10%. Territory will cover, roughly, Longmont to WY state line along the front range, and northeastern CO. Ideal candidate will be available to spend approximately 80% of the time in that territory to establish and grown blood donation relationships. Overnight travel is rarely required.
Starting Wage: $42,786+ DOE; position also eligible for annual bonus based on organizational goals
