We are currently accepting applications for a Cook who can be available to work Part Time.

Cook

• Prepares meals in accordance with the posted menu schedule.
• Makes sure that all special diets and dietary concerns are followed.
• Assists with proper maintenance of salad bar items as needed.
• Washes pots and pans from meal preparation.
• Attends meetings when required.
• Works with the dietary aides, cooks, dietary supervisor, other staff, and residents to provide food service in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Performs special duties as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor.

Cook Requirements

• Quantity cooking experience is preferred.
• Must be interested in geriatrics, be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures.
• Be in good physical and mental health and　be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds frequently.
