Bus Driver – Seasonal, Part Time - Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County

Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County (BGCLC) is a place for kids to laugh, learn, grow and belong. For more than 30 years, BGCLC has served the youth in Larimer County. Through amazing programs, caring staff, and a safe atmosphere, we give youth a place to go when they need support, care and most importantly, fun. We give youth a place to call home.

BGCLC is looking for an energetic, fun-loving, adaptable individual to responsibly operate a 61 passenger school bus in order to transport members in a safe and timely manner to, from, and in between Boys & Girls Clubs locations.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving the assigned route according to routing directions.
  • Following the appropriate schedule for member pickup and drop off times.
  • Transporting members to/from BGCLC locations.
  • Transporting members to/from BGCLC sponsored activity trips.
  • Maintaining appropriate member behavior to allow for safe vehicle operation.
  • Performing daily pre and post trip safety inspections in accordance with all state and federal regulations, as well as BGCLC policies and procedures.
  • Helping to maintain the bus by ensuring routine maintenance is completed.
  • Cleaning the interior and exterior of the bus as well as sanitizing all seats and handrails after each route.

This part time (15 – 25 hours per week), seasonal, non-exempt position has a pay range of $22.00/hour  – $24.00/hour.



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent


  • Experience working with school aged youth preferred

Specialized Skills

  • Must be 20 years of age and hold a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with P and S endorsement
  • Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
  • CPR/First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire
  • Must meet Club driver insurability requirements
  • Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking preferred
  • Candidates must be able to pass a drug test that includes screening for marijuana, criminal and driving records investigations, and reference checks.
