Folds of Honor Event

Sandwiched between two important American holidays, Memorial Day and the Independence Day, now is the perfect time to support Folds of Honor. With the motto of “Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate their Legacy,” Folds of Honor has had the mission of providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members since 2007.
Join Budweiser and NoCo On The Town at Tony’s Bar & Rooftop from 1 – 6 p.m. June 17 to help raise money for Folds of Honor while drinking America’s beer – Budweiser.. There will be a Budweiser Auction, Budweiser specials, Budweiser prizes and a mini boot camp course. Not only will the Budweiser Auction and all funds made at this event go toward Folds of Honor, but Budweiser will also match up donations up to $5,000.

Attendees will also be able to hear from speaker Chrissy Carpenter, wife of fallen soldier who received aid from Folds of Honor following the death of her husband, LCPL Andrew Paul Carpenter. In 2011, while 35 weeks pregnant, Chrissy received news that her husband had been shot while on patrol in Afghanistan. Eight days later he was taken off of life support. With the help of Folds of Honor Chrissy was able to complete both her undergraduate and graduate degrees without the financial stress. This is the first time Chrissy has been to Colorado, and she is excited to speak on how Folds of Honor played a huge role in her success while also helping with her son’s future.

By coming to this event and donating, guests will have the opportunity to help others like Chrissy in the Colorado area. Every dollar donated to Folds of Honor will help reach the Northern Colorado goal.
