In 2015, the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce achieved the prestigious national 5-star accreditation, placing us in the top 3% of all Chambers across the United States. Then in 2021, the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce earned a 5-star accreditation making FACC one of two 5-star chambers in Colorado.

This accreditation serves as external validation, affirming that we operate at an exceptional level compared to our peers and rigorous national standards. Accreditation is validation. It is external validation that the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce is performing at a very high level for our members and the community.

The Chamber Board of Directors sets strategic direction, fiscal integrity and hires the CEO for the organization. Directors represent the diversity of Chamber members – including diversity in gender, size of business, industry, and geographic location.
A Chairman, Chair-elect and Treasurer are elected for one-year terms from among the Board of Directors.

What does my membership provide besides events?

Our membership is diverse, we offer a wide range of programs and services that meet the unique needs of our members. Some members prefer the networking aspect of the Chamber, while others like the advocacy and leadership we bring to the table through our government affairs program.

Through your membership, you are also working to enhance the business community on a regional and state level through the Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance (partnership between the Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley Chambers and the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation) which employs a lobbyist at the state level.
